Technology Architect, Senior

We are currently seeking a Technology Architect, Senior for a remote position, with occasional business travel as required by the client. The compensation package is competitive and includes enhanced group benefits.

​Responsibilities  

  • Participate in various technical meetings with clients.
  • Analyze information and timelines from meetings against client requirements.
  • Develop presentations and provide consultations to stakeholders.
  • Capture feedback and decisions, offering guidance and technical recommendations.
  • Participate in site inspections at each base.
  • Engage in disaster recovery, threat risk assessments, and vulnerability testing.
  • Contribute to System Requirements Review (SRR) for performance management, training, data analytics, and system integration.
  • Develop IM/IT Design Review entry criteria, IM/IT Functional Baseline, provide analysis, and consultations with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the client's performance management team to draft performance measurement business requirements and test plans.
  • Work with the Joint IM/IT Integrated Project Team (IPT) to develop project schedules and issue resolution plans.
  • Serve as the IM/IT Operational Infrastructure Planning Subject Matter Expert, liaising between stakeholders.

Requirements​

  • Education: Degree/diploma in computer science, information technology, information management, or a related field.
  • Certificates:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
    • Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years in the past 10 years managing major capital projects (over $5M) in the public sector.
    • Minimum of 5 years in the past 10 years using Microsoft Project
