Sales Manager, Western Canada

LinHR's client -  is committed to providing tomorrow's vaping solutions. They are developing and pioneering technology and programs focused on empowering adult smokers through technology design ethically. They take this responsibility very seriously -- since their inception, it has been their commitment to prevent and discourage the use of e-cigarettes by minors and people who are not smokers or vapers through the 'Guardian' Program. This program is a company-wide initiative that stretches from product development to sales through concerted efforts with retailers to step up on-site identification.

They are looking for a Sales Manager, Western Canada. (Ideally in AB or SK). This position is an independent contributor role and will report to Commercial Head, Canada.

Responsibilities  

  • Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing a solid and sustainable sales growth strategy based on company OKR targets.
  • Responsible for RTM strategy, planning, execution for the products in West Canada.
  • Manage existing distributors. 
  • Own PSI communication/negotiation with distributors.
  • Develop, recruit new sub-D, wholesaler, KA on board to ensure they align with the company's strategy, business objective and commit to the company's regulatory compliance programs.  
  • Coordinate sales promotion programs; monitor distributor in-store activation and education; ensure retailers perfect in-store execution for the promotion program. 
  • Control, manage trading program-related expenses to maximize ROI effectively. 
  • Generate and review RTM metrics, dashboard; monitor distributor performance via organizing, updating, present at the company/distributor jointly business review meetings. 
  • Engage, maintain a positive relationship with distributors/sub-D to improve loyalty.
  • Collaborate with HQ TMKT team to execute the GTM strategy; facilitate new product market launch with distributors/sub-D.
  • Attend industry exhibition and show to present, promote the company's brand and product.

Requirements​

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in business or marketing relative field,
  • At least five(5+) years of Territory Sales, Key Account or Distributor Management experience, ideally in Tobacco, Vaping, Cannabis or similar FMCG industry,
  • In-depth knowledge of the Western Canada Vaping market and local distribution channels,
  • Good understanding of financial numbers, value chain, and pricing structures,
  • Strong team player with positive communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills, 
  • Ability to build trusting relations with internal and external stakeholders,
  • Take strong ownership of the business, solve problems, deliver solid ORK targets,
  • Entrepreneurship Mindset. Highly responsible, accountable, result/detail-oriented,
  • Able to multi-task, work under pressure with tight timelines & minimum supervision,
  • Mandarin-speaking is preferred.
