Sales and Operations Manager

About the client: LinHR Client, Panthera Sports Inc., is located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, and specializes in online wholesale and retail martial arts products. The Company provides an excellent service in bulk orders and small quantities wholesale for individual clubs. The Company has long-term cooperation with manufacturers and have offered various high-quality martial arts products at competitive prices. With the business growth, the Company is looking for a   Sales and Operations Manager (CA 2022PSI 001) in Richmond Hill, Ontario. As the Sales and Operations Manager, you will lead the team to increase profitable sales and margin. Ideally, your background should include successful sales history and business acumen with a desire to develop a high-performing team. 

It is a 
permanent Full-Time position, location is 30 Wertheim Court, Suite 206, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1B9
  • Salary: $110,240 CAD/year ($53.00/hour)
  • Hours of work: 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
  • Vacation per year starts 2 weeks, 3 weeks after completion of 5 years.

​Responsibilities  

  • Assess market demands and trends, and develop and determine market and sales strategy
  • Make sales forecasts, set sales goals and monitor the achievement of sales goals
  • Direct and manage sales operations, monitor and evaluate the staffs’ performance KPIs
  • Manage online sales system and updates
  • Manage the orders and purchase, and supervise the activities of supply chain
  • Create policies, procedures and methods for the business to increase sales
  • Hire, train, and manage staff
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Plan, organize, direct and provide leadership to achieve the short- and long-term business growth
  • Negotiate and finalize relevant contracts
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and clients.

Requirements​

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in business, marketing or related fields,
  • Over three years of online sales experience, and at least one year as a management role, 
  • Familiar with online sales, marketing and management software and methods, like SEO, PPC, CMS, web development, social media, email marketing and other ecommerce-related solutions,
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to improve sales performance,
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business,
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure,
  • Language of work is English.
