Mobile Business Development Manager, Channel Sales

LinHR's client - the leading telecommunications services provider provides a full range of comprehensive international telecommunications services. It has expanded its footprint in 20 countries across different regions.

The client is looking for a driven and versatile Mobile Business Development Manager, Retail in two cities: Markham, ON and Vancouver, BC.
This position requires a sales and marketing expert with experience in developing sales channels, building brands and delivering business results in Mobile Retail environments.
The role will understand how to translate consumer insight and strategy into execution in the targeted market, bring previous experience in Mobile consumer marketing and brand strategy and a proven ability to leverage data to drive strategic decision making.
The successful candidate is comfortable in a matrix organization and able to collaboratively develop strategy and drive execution of a cross-functional team by creating alignment across a broad range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities  

  • Responsible for retail mobile services sales to achieve sales quotas and performance targets
  • Promote China Mobile products and services to build and maintain positive relationships with new, existing customers .
  • Identify and work on sales opportunities independently and proactively, setup local sale channels and develop local dealers with distributors and channel partners within assigned territory
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal functions
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customers during every phase of sales cycle

Requirements​

  • Bachelor degree in any disciplines
  • 3 years experiences in direct sales of mobile products including SIM cards and services to consumer market 
  • Solid experiences to develop and manage retail distributors, dealers and channel partners.
  • Good knowledge of international telecom market trends and technology
  • Ability to work independently and react quickly to customer requirement changes
  • Ability to manage the business cycle and close deals in a dynamic setting
  • Strong drive to achieve results with enthusiasm and energy
  • Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
  • Respect for cultural differences and ability to adapt to new environments quickly
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required
