Our client is looking for a driven and versatile Marketing Manager in Richmond Hill, Ontario.  
This position is a full time, non- sales position. It will support the team of Mobile Business Development, Retail in Canada.

Responsibilities  

• Responsible for revenue and subscriber growth through targeted marketing campaigns, online, built on unique, local insights
• Development and execution of marketing plans to drive new customer acquisition and retention for consumer/business mobile applications
• Stay informed/educated on the Canadian (Toronto/Vancouver/Alberta/Montreal/Atlantic) landscape, market conditions and consumer insights to influence quarterly plans and regional marketing plans
• Develop and socialize reactive retention strategies specific to regional market conditions
• Work closely with Sales channels to execute Sales marketing plans and gain feedback
• Provide relevant insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders to drive business results
• Spend a significant amount of time in the regional marketing plans (TV/Radio advertising, local ads (Paper or digital), international school agencies, immigration agencies, direct mail, online, print and marketing collaterals)
• Own, understand, monitor and track against business objectives related to regional/local programs
• Work with Brand and agencies to develop compelling, regional campaigns to appeal to targeted segments
• Work closely with the research/sales/3rd party marketing teams to gather insights and execute new research initiatives to define new opportunities
• The ability to work closely with sales/pricing team on offer and bundle strategies where needed and based on business and market insights
• While residing in Toronto, some travel required to other parts of Canada as needed to support marketing initiatives (Toronto/Vancouver/Alberta/Montreal/Atlantic)

Requirements​

• University degree in Business related field strongly preferred
• 3+ years marketing (planning and execution) experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and present strategic recommendations
• Strong brief writing skills and masterful at telling a compelling story to drive your programs forward
• Telecommunications and/or retail background preferred
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral for presentation purpose
• Strong mix of “art” (strategy, ideas, evolutions) and “science” (data insights, business cases, metric (KPI) achievement)
• Creative thinker who thinks outside the box
• A driven candidate who wants to grow beyond this initial role
• Fluency in English/Chinese (Mandarin (Advanced) & Cantonese (Moderate))
