Project Manger – Land Development 

About LinHR's client (CN 2017T001) : This is a privately owned home development company started in China, and was established in 1994. Now they have operations across the Greater Toronto Area, with acquiring 2,000,000 square meters of land in Toronto. The scope of the company’s operations includes land investment, acquisitions, development, community design, development, housing and construction. Their emphasis however is on financial investment. Responsibilities

  • Develop the procedures and implementation programs
  • Identify and manage project risks throughout course of the project.
  • Coordinate the activities of the team members with respect to the technical, documentation and project administration requirements of the job.
  • Financial management of projects including invoicing, budget management and accounts receivable collections.
  • Promotes and participates in the firm’s initiatives, which include staff development, collaboration, industry functions and community involvement.

Requirements ​

  • Completion of post-secondary civil engineering education.
  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) designation in the Province of Ontario is required.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience at the similar position in the industry.
  • Minimum 1+ end-to-end projects of building Condos or hotels oroffice building
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of the land development process, particularly the role of consultants/specialists within that process.
  • Knowledge of contract preparation and tendering requirements.
  • Ability to lead by example and simultaneously coordinate multiple projects.
  • Flexibility and adaptable to changing circumstances in a dynamic industry.
  • Has a positive attitude towards their work, colleagues and is supportive of a team environment.
  • Strong analytical, report writing and verbal communication skills.
