Key Account Manager, C&G Channel, Canada West

LinHR's client -  is committed to providing tomorrow's vaping solutions. They are developing and pioneering both technology and programs focused on empowering adult smokers through technology and design ethically. They take this responsibility very seriously -- since their inception, it has been their commitment to prevent and discourage the use of e-cigarettes by minors and people who are not smokers or vapers through the 'Guardian Program. This program is a company-wide initiative that stretches from product development to sales through concerted efforts with retailers to step up on-site identification.
They are looking for a Key Account Manager - C&G Channel Sales in western Canada. It is a full-time position with a competitive compensation package. The Work location is in any city - work from home  in Western Canada.  
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the assigned country. 

Responsibilities  

  • Identify the proper Key Account (KA) distribution partners in West Canada, develop a cooperation with them.
  • Build a trust relationship with KA Key Distribution Managers(KDMs); gain insights, secure solid support for KA listing-in.
  • Negotiate contract terms with Convenient Stores & Gas Stations' Key accounts; sign the contract with teams’ support.
  • Manage a daily communication with KA customer to identify new potential area of growth.
  • Develop a detailed KA ABP and execution tracker to achieve the quarterly KA Objectives and Key Results(OKR) targets, incl. S/O $$,POS expansion#, marketing /promotion execution, offtake/user acquisition, while closely monitor, control budget to achieve a balanced ROI within a given timeline.
  • Collaborate with the internal teams to ensure the highest quality of our brand presence in stores and to provide a best-class service to meet the customer demands.
  • Prepare KA report in a weekly basis to present KA progress, gap vs. target, follow up actions; share the KA development best practice or KA case study with internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze KAS/O &offtake data to provide recommendations to the management team.
  • Visit KA store, provide local market/customer insights and market competitor landscape.   

Requirements​

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant fields.
  • Minimum 7years’ previous work experience in sales, distributor / channel management, key account management in Tobacco/Vaping, FMCG or Consumer Electronics industry.
  • Detail oriented, efficiently at analyzing data, sales statistics and to provide solutions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to build trusting relations with internal stakeholders and external customers swiftly.
  • Entrepreneurship Mindset; self-driven, strong ownership, highly responsible, accountable.
  • Ability to multitask between complex solutions, ability to coordinate, orchestrate, and communicate effectively with business partners to maintain the high service levels in a demanding environment; can work under pressure to meet tight timelines and deliver result.
