IT Support Engineer​

​China Mobile International (USA) Inc. headquartered in Silicon Valley is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our fast-growing IT Support team in the U.S.A to further the growth of our Global Network Service. You will be working with the IT support teams, building and maintaining  the customers’ IP network.
The work location for the role is San Jose, business trip occasionally..

China Mobile International (USA) Inc. has offices in San Jose, Los Angeles and New York, providing access to Chinese telecom network assets for customers in the United States.  

Responsibilities  

  • Responsible for systems/technical support and administration on network, desktop/server hardware and software, and application systems
  • Implementation and support of our clients IT Infrastructure, maintain IP network devices
  • Provide Level 1- 3 support for incidents and problem resolution
  • Interact with other team members and other teams to progress projects and incidentsr

Requirements​

  • 1 - 3 years' relevant experience in technical support and administration for All OS platform including Microsoft Windows 7/8/10, Microsoft Office 2016/2013/2010/2007, Windows Server 2012/2008/2003 (Active Directory Administration / Group Policy), Microsoft Exchange Server; Mac OS; Linux systems
  • Expertise in LAN and WAN, deep understanding of TCP/IP Stack and OSI models
  • Experience in Citrix, VMare, SQL Server, Data Storage, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and Cloud based Architectures will be an advantage
  • Must be attentive to detail, proactive and have strong troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating in person and via phone/radio with peers, management, contractors and vendors.in both Mandarin & English
  • Technical, analytical, interpersonal and organization skills required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science / Telecommunication engineering or related field preferred
  • Has experience working within a ticketing system 
  • Experience with Server upgrade, maintenance and backups 
  • Must have CCNA or HCNA or MCSE
  • Certificate Holders of CCNP, CCIE, HCNP or HCIE is a plus
