Inventory Clerk

Warehouse Inventory Clerk Needed in Mississauga!
The Warehouse Inventory Clerk is responsible for conducting accurate and efficient inventory counts of all stock within the warehouse. This role involves physical tasks such as counting, sorting, and organizing inventory items to ensure that stock levels are accurately recorded. The role will work closely with the warehouse team to maintain inventory accuracy and support efficient warehouse operations.
  • ​Shift: 9:00 to 5:30 with a 30 minutes break from Monday to Friday with flexibility
  • Employment Term: Two (2) weeks Full-time contract, starting from June 17 to 30, 2024
  • Pay: up to $18 per hour based on experience
  • Location:  Kitimat Rd, Mississauga on L5N 3T5

​Responsibilities  

  • Conduct regular stocktakes of all inventory items in the warehouse.
  • Use appropriate tools and equipment to accurately count and record stock levels.
  • Ensure that inventory counts are conducted efficiently and within specified timeframes.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or variances in stock levels.
  • Assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to facilitate accurate stock counting.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to coordinate stocktake activities.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve stocktaking processes and procedures.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements​

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or stocktaking preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and recording inventory.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in using inventory management software or handheld devices.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
