Human Resources Generalist/Manager

About the client: Headquartered in London, the UK,  is a specialist food delivery platform to provide authentic Chinese food and groceries to Chinese compatriots and students abroad since its establishment in 2016.
With the business development in North America, they are looking for a Human Resource Generalist/Manager in Canada and USA. 
The role in Canada can work either in Scarborough or Downtown Toronto, ON, or Richmond, BC.
The role in USA can work in Central or East region. 
Compensation: Base salary 80K USD + Benefits + Discretionary Bonus. 

​Responsibilities  

  • Planning and develop recruitment selection processes and appointment to solve the company's manpower needs; Be good at senior or middle level.
  • Draw up human resources policies, and formulate plans for selection, training, use, and retention to achieve the company's strategic goals;
  • Establish a talent development system that conforms to the corporate culture, and systematically train employees to strengthen the corporate talent capital;
  • Mediate labor disputes, deal with employee dismissal and other special human resources related issues;
  • Maintain the relevant records of the internal human resources of the enterprise (such as employee's basic personal information, work instructions, job rotation records, attendance and absence records, performance evaluation records, etc);
  • Establish performance management and salary system; • Design, manage and implement the company’s performance management system, and use the results of performance appraisal to provide references for management decisions (such as salary adjustments, bonuses, bonuses, promotions, transfers, retention, assignments, or praise for employee contributions Wait).
  • Plan the budget for the use of manpower, establish and maintain the company's salary system and work rules, manage the employee welfare system and pension plans, and provide personnel management reports;
  • Plan the company's training and development system, conduct training and development needs analysis, planning, execution and effectiveness evaluation;
  • Familiar with the laws which are related to recruitment and human resources.

Requirements​

  • A degree qualification is paramount to this role.
  • Over 2 years of experience in recruiting executives.
  • Over 2 years of experience in employment legal compliance and employee relationship
  • Knowledge of the company's services is preferred.
  • Experience in developing HR systems is essential.
  • The role requires someone who is extremely organized, able to make day to day decisions and use their initiative when required.
  • The ability to work under pressures coupled with excellent communication skills.
  • Confidence to liaise with all colleagues.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English
