- Develop and deliver the HR strategy in alignment with business objectives
- Develop, implement and optimize policies and procedures of HR and administration to support the company’s business operational plan
- Create a proactive & comprehensive career development process (career laddering) across all levels in Canada Office
- Coach the leadership and management teams to build strength in teamwork, motivation and organizational effectiveness
- Develop robust talent management plans to attract, retain, develop, and engage employees
- Partner with the Canada leadership team and headquarters’ HR partners to make recommendations in areas such as: talent management, change management, culture, recruitment, retention, development, total rewards and performance management
- Attend regular Senior Management Team meetings and report on current HR issues/solutions as appropriate, ensure operational issues are reflected in the HR strategic planning process
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree (Business, Human Resources)
- Minimum 5 years relevant cross-culture human resources management experience
Skills and Attributes
- Fluent in both Korean and English.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively verbally or through written documents.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact effectively and build relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization; the ability to formulate and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders; and the ability to manage and respond to difficult situations promptly;
- Familiar with international human resources management system and Canada employment legislation.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations that require timely and sound decision making and may involve confidential or sensitive matters
