Virtual Intern HR & Marketing Assistant  

As a Marketing and Human Resources Assistant, you will assist and provide clerical and administrative support for the provision of human resources functions remotely and act as the first point of contact for clients' inquiries.
This position will assist the Managing Director with recruiting candidates for LinHR’s clients, design and maintain
LinHR’s website, participate in the recruitment and marketing events which can promote LinHR services, record day to
day expenditure transactions accurately.

Responsibilities:
​Marketing
  • Design, edit and maintain LinHR’s website to promote the LinHR brand to employers and job seekers.
  • Assist with preparing marketing materials including selecting marketing service vendors, updating LinHR's websites, newsletters, promotion emails, designing and printing business cards, posters, holiday cards and so on.
  • Organize and conduct job fairs on campus and other events.
  • Assist with proofreading, formatting proposals to RFPs
  • Represent LinHR to networking with potential candidates or clients on social media, business events or conferences
  • Search the business opportunities from government websites both provincial and federal government
  • Assist with service assessment surveys
  • Research market information
HR
  • Assist with the recruitment process: posting job openings, searching for talent, initial phone screen interview, scheduling interviews, sending invitation emails and thank you emails.
  • Maintain, organize and update talent pool database and employee records
  • Manage pre-assessment tests for clients when needed
  • Conduct reference check, criminal check with Triton when needed or security clearance certificate with the government of Canada
  • Maintain the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure)  
Others
  • Manage the office expense invoices and receipts of LinHR for the accountant
  • Maintain the timesheets and prepare the invoice for clients 
Requirements
  • College diploma in Business Administration.
  • Marketing, accounting or Human Resources Management is preferred
  • Customer focus (may be internal or external): Follow up with customers and candidates to ensure their requests have been addressed 
  • Problem-solving: Resolve scheduling conflicts to coordinate meetings 
  • Excellent business writing skills in English
  • Good communication skills with a passion 
  • Well organized and attention to detail. Such as organize and maintain calendar(s) for interviews between clients and candidates smoothly 
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills 
  • Work under pressure and meet the deadline in a fast pace environment
