Head of Global Creative Content Center

About the client: The company's  mission is to build technology and software products that make every idea achievable for the new generation of creatives. And they empower their Canadian team to take on the most creative challenges to make this possible.
We are seeking a Global Creative Content Head who is responsible for executing and overseeing video, motion, and graphic-related content strategy. As a content director, reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, you will have creative vision, collaboration skills, the ability to understand and work with stakeholders and the ability to see the big picture.

​Responsibilities  

People:
  • Utilization Management (Maximizing efforts on strategic vision, budget tracking and resource allocation)
  • Performance Management
  • Team motivation by providing mentoring and coaching
  • Talent Hiring 
  • Involved in the design community; open and interested in giving back and supporting other designers in their growth.
Process:
  • Making up work mechanism and business plan
  • Oversee global content creation, governance and operations
  • Cross collaboration with other departments
  • Act as a steward of the Wondershare brand ensuring quality and cohesiveness across all content development 
  • Generate and implement process improvements
  • Define agile content process definition and application 
Purpose:
  • Ensuring the global content strategy be implemented in the daily design work.
  • Establishing and maintaining design principles and guidelines.
  • Task Management
  • Using data to measure the work output and improving the department management and task management.
  • Supporting the revenue generation with content creation.
  • Effectively and efficiently partner with marketing and product departments to deliver on content needs.
  • Report on content performance and audience growth
  • Use data to measure results and inform planning and strategy development

Requirements​

  • 3+ years experience of leading a design/brand/video production team.
  • 10+ years of design experience in tech companies or agencies.
  • Able to drive alignment cross-functionally using interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience designing execution plans, processes and accountability for delivering results
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin 
  • Strong knowledge of 3D, VR, and AR assets generation is plus
