Carrier Business Manager​

LinHR's client - the leading telecommunications services provider - China Mobile International (CMI) provides a full range of comprehensive international telecommunications services which includes IDD, roaming, Internet, MNC services and Value Added Business across the globe. It has expanded its footprint in 22 countries across different regions. ​

China Mobile International Canada is looking for a driven and versatile Carrier Business Manager who is hungry to empower their carrier sales business. As a key member of the business development team for CMI (Canada) Inc.


The work location is Toronto or Vancouver.


The role will be responsible for selling functions to carrier clients to achieve revenue and target assigned by the company. Maintain good customer relationship and support daily selling works.

Responsibilities  

  • Achieve sales target assigned by the company.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for exploring business opportunity and maximize sales prospect and company’s market penetration.
  • Manage relation with clients, acquire RFP invites, present feasible and competitive solutions, approach bid until seal deals. Understand own network capability as well as resale in wholesale Telecom market. Business scopes cover capacity, IP-VPN, Internet, Colocation, Mobile (voice trading exclusive) in Canada.
  • Explore new business opportunities and forge relations with target clients by networking and presenting of CMI’s service and capability.
  • Single contact points to carrier partners/clients, interface and organize all commercial issues requested by/to partners/clients.
  • Carry out daily pricing works to each carrier clients
  • Manage contracts with carrier partner/clients
  • Negotiate with large prospects and accounts to close business. Liaise with internal to ensure the solution meet customer requirement. Establish sales model and support agreement for new customers.
  • Provide sales report and formulate sales pipeline for each customer account and respective region.
  • After-sales support including service performance review, contract renewal negotiation, process improvement etc.

Requirements​

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline
  • at least 3 -5 years of experience in Telecom market is a must
  • Wholesale/Carrier Telecom sales experience is preferred
  • Good knowledge in telecom products and services
  • Good PC knowledge (word, excel and powerpoint)
  • Excellent teamwork skills, hardworking, self-motived and able to work under pressure 
  • Good communicator with positive personality and aggressive hunter.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
