Business Development Manager​

LinHR's client - the leading telecommunications services provider - China Mobile International (CMI) provides a full range of comprehensive international telecommunications services that includes IDD, roaming, Internet, MNC services and Value Added Business across the globe. It has expanded its footprint in 22 countries across different regions. China Mobile International (USA) Inc. has offices in San Jose, Los Angeles and New York, providing access to Chinese telecom network assets for customers in the United States.

​China Mobile International (USA) Inc. headquartered in Silicon Valley is looking for a driven and versatile Business Development Manager. The role will focus on business development that includes but not limited to IPLC/IELC, MPLS VPN, IP Transit, Dedicated Internet Access, and Data Center, etc. The ideal candidate will be a hunter that uses a consultative and solutions-based selling approach, have strong presentation and communication skills and have that "hungry" mentality.

​There are multiple work locations for the role: 
USA: San Jose, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Chicago, Texas, Colorado,  Florida, Business Trip Occasionally.
Canada: Toronto, Vancouver,  Business Trip Occasionally.
Work from home is available for some cities. 

Responsibilities  

  • Prospect new business and expand new market in assigned area by identifying, qualifying and prioritizing new business opportunities. Drive demand and deliver exceptional results against sales target.
  • Maintain good business relationships with new and existing customers to conduct needs analysis, relay product information, quotations and tenders.
  • Create strong relationship with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels.
  • Conduct marketing research for new product, and make business decisions by locating and analyzing sales trend, service areas and potential business opportunities.
  • Fully understand and master internal sales operations processes in order to evaluate and access opportunities for improvements.
  • Partner with support department to develop solution and make proposals based on customer needs and inquiries.
  • Work closely with different business units and make sure all projects are smooth and efficient.

Requirements​

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Account Management and/or Business Development role, global telecom market experience is preferred; America sales experience is a plus
  • Strong customer-orientated attitude, self-motived, detailed oriented, well organized, and is able to work under pressure and in different time zones
  • Effective, clear, and charismatic presentation skills
  • Highly collaborative, strong listening and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, bilingual in Spanish or French or Chinese is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
