Business Development Manager, Channel Sales

LinHR's client -  is committed to providing tomorrow's vaping solutions. They are developing and pioneering both technology and programs focused on empowering adult smokers through technology and design ethically. They take this responsibility very seriously -- since their inception, it has been their commitment to prevent and discourage the use of e-cigarettes by minors and people who are not smokers or vapers through the 'Guardian Program. This program is a company-wide initiative that stretches from product development to sales through concerted efforts with retailers to step up on-site identification.
They are looking for a Business Development Manager - Channel Sales in two different counties: Canada or Mexico. It is a full-time position with a competitive compensation package. 
The Work location is in any city in Ontario, Canada, or Mexico City in Mexico. 
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the assigned country. 

Responsibilities  

  • Manage channel distribution; achieve/exceed growth and sales targets by successfully conducting business plan and market analysis, exploring new business opportunities to meet and/or exceed defined OKR target.
  • Identify/develop new key accounts or sub distributors network (National/Regional Level); maintain strong relationship with all key accounts (Vape/Convenience &Gas channels)
  • Monitor retailer offtake performance and seek continuous improvement to drive sales growth and ensure rational stock inventory of distributors.
  • Co-develop trade marketing  campaign programs together with the Trade Marketing team; ensure a successful on-the-ground execution and in-store activation.
  • Collaborate with the branded retail store team on retail stores operation and execution in an assigned country.
  • Control and manage trading program related expenses effectively in all key accounts.
  • Manage channel sales demands, forecasts and present sales relative data analysis with the management team.​

Requirements​

  • At least 2+ years of Business Development or Sales experience in a similar role.
  • Networking in Canada vaping or tobacco channel account is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Convenience & Gas channels in an assigned country is preferred.
  • Great negotiation and communication skills.
  • Result-driven, details oriented; hard-worker, great team player.
  • Mandarin speaking is preferred.​
