Business Analyst, Senior

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst, Senior for a remote position, with occasional business travel as required by the client. The hourly rate starting CAD 80.00+ 

​Responsibilities  

  • Participate in various technical meetings with clients using DOORS, Microsoft Project/Primavera, Microsoft Planner, and Excel.
  • Analyze information and timelines from meetings against client requirements.
  • Develop presentations and provide consultations to stakeholders.
  • Capture feedback and decisions, offering guidance and technical recommendations.
  • Participate in site inspections at each base.
  • Manage tasks of the Intermediate Business Analyst, reviewing tasks, deliverables, and presentations, and providing guidance and technical recommendations.
  • As part of the IM/IT Systems Engineering Design Team, participate in System Requirements Review (SRR) for Security Authorization & Accreditation, IT Contingency Plan, System Architecture, Maintenance and Support, Information Management Procedures, Backup and Restore Procedures, IM/IT Roadmap, and IM/IT Operational Infrastructure Planning.
  • Act as the Security Authorization & Accreditation (SA&A) Subject Matter Expert, liaising between stakeholders.

Requirements​

  • Education: Degree/diploma in computer science, information technology, information management, or a related field.
  • Certificates:
    • Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years in the past 10 years working in a Business Analyst capacity.
    • Minimum of 5 years in the past 10 years working with a Learning Management System (LMS) in an administrative role.
    • Minimum of 5 years in the past 10 years using IBM DOORS requirements application and Microsoft Visio.
