Bilingual  Immigration Consultant

Our client is an educational service company that provides high quality education, vocational, and work solutions along with cross-cultural support for students from China. They serve those pursuing higher education and further development within their professional careers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and more. They integrate first class teaching resources worldwide, promote education equality and provide professional development solutions of the highest quality for Chinese families.  

They are looking for a full time Operational Director for their Los Angeles (CA) office but the position can also be remote.

Responsibilities  

  • Lead online or offline seminars that tailor to perspective clients on immigration matters, including but not limited to Employment-Based green card, E-2 visa, L-1 visa, etc.
  • ​Draft, review, and revise contracts.
  • Assist with communications and marketing services to companies and individuals
  • ​Assist with business development and marketing activities.
  • Assist with coordinating global immigration matters with our network of local counsel globally.
  • Work directly with our Customer Service Representatives to conduct intake as well as return calls, emails, and other inquiries from potential clients.
  • ​Monitor and review changes in U.S. immigration laws and regulations and in immigration forms.
  • Legal research and writing in support of visa applications if applicable.
  • ​Other duties assigned.

Requirements​

  • LLM or JD degree with Bar admission in any state
  • 2-3 years of experience as an attorney or legal advocate working within immigration law.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and immigration law highly preferred.
  • Willing and able to own projects, writing and negotiating, planning, and organizing.
  • Strong customer service skills and self-management skills.
  • Customer-service oriented communication skills
  • A demonstrated interest and passion for immigration market.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English is a must.
