Application Software Architect, Senior

We are currently seeking a Senior Application Software Architect for a remote position, with occasional business travel as required by the client. The hourly rate starting from $80.00 CAD

​Responsibilities  

  • Participate in various technical meetings with clients.
  • Analyze information and timelines from meetings against client requirements.
  • Develop presentations and provide consultations to stakeholders.
  • Capture feedback and decisions, offering guidance and technical recommendations.
  • Conduct system requirement reviews.
  • Oversee system architecture, LAN/WAN, and IT hardware & software (weekly during transition).
  • Act as the Training Portal, Dashboards, and Reporting Subject Matter Expert, liaising between stakeholders.
  • Consult with the Joint IM/IT Integrated Project Team (IPT) to develop the Draft Data Plan.
  • Serve as the Training and Data Analytics, Data Plan, and Integration with Other Systems Subject Matter Expert, liaising between stakeholders.

Requirements​

  • Education: Degree/diploma in computer science, information technology, information management, or a related field.
  • Certificates:
    • UX-PM1 Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years in the past 10 years working in program management on a Major Capital Project implementing a learning management system (LMS) and a learning content management system (LCMS) in an Application Architect capacity.
    • Minimum of 5 years in the past 10 years using either Transact SQL or PL/SQL and either VBA, VBScript, or JavaScript programming languages.
