Accounting Assistant

LinHR's client is specializing in distributing high quality laminate flooring and related products. In 2014, they opened their first wholesale Centre in Toronto, Canada. Their products were broadly accepted and promoted in the market because of its great cost-performance. They gradually opened 8 more wholesale centers across Canada. They ensure their products can be picked up by clients all over Canada in a convenient distance

They are hiring a Full-time Accounting Assistant to join their team in Ajax, ON L1S 6N1.
Total annual salary would be Regular Salary: $3,300.00 per month + Annual Bonus

​Responsibilities  

  • Prepare, format, and manage high-quality, confidential documents including reports, correspondence, contracts, proposals, and presentations.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, apply incoming payments, and reconcile accounts.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and provide general accounting support.
  • Respond to billing inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Maintain precise financial records and assist with month-end close processes.
  • Maintain and organize legal and administrative files such as contracts, WSIB documentation, insurance certificates, and bonding records.
  • Review and prepare documents for signature, ensuring accurate tracking and record-keeping for management reports.
  • Reconcile corporate credit card statements in accordance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, communications, and offsite events, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support for HR functions including onboarding, documentation, and coordination with the HR Manager.
  • Deliver cross-departmental administrative and office management support as needed.
  • Professionally manage inquiries and represent the Regional team with confidence and discretion.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required to support daily operations.

Requirements​


  •  Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative, office coordination, or accounting support role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with accounting or ERP software is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, or events is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and basic financial procedures is preferred.
  • Language:​ Mandarin (required)
